Dog Owner Stories & Real Cost Diaries
A place for readers to share their dog's story — and, if you're willing, what you actually spend in a year. Every cost guide on this site cites industry averages; we'd rather also show you real numbers from real owners.

Want to see your dog here?
Email [email protected] with:
- Your dog's name and breed (or best guess, if mixed)
- A short story — a few sentences to a few paragraphs is perfect
- Optional but appreciated: roughly what you spent on your dog this past year (food, vet, insurance, everything) — we'll only ever show a rounded number, never anything identifying
- A photo of your dog, and confirmation you're okay with us publishing it
- The first name you'd like us to credit (or "Anonymous")
We read every submission and publish a selection here. We may lightly edit for length or clarity, and we won't publish your email address or last name.
