About Argos Paws

In Homer's Odyssey, Argos is Odysseus's dog — the only one who recognizes him after twenty years away, waiting loyally until the very end. We named this site after him because that's the kind of relationship we think dog ownership deserves: patient, practical, and built on actually understanding what your dog needs.

Argos Paws exists to answer the questions dog owners actually have — how big will my puppy get, what will feeding them really cost, is insurance worth it — with free calculators and straightforward guides, instead of vague "it depends" articles optimized purely for search engines.
